About Us
Abramson AAC is a leading provider of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) support in Massachusetts. Specializing in assisting autistic learners, Jennifer Abramson, MS, CCC-SLP, offers direct and consultative services through telehealth to individuals and teams. Our mission is to empower communicators by providing tailored AAC solutions for improved communication and quality of life.
Jennifer Abramson, MS, CCC-SLP, has worked in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for over a decade and has specialized in working with autistic individuals for over 20 years. Jennifer was an adjunct clinical instructor at the MGH Institute of Health Professions (MGHIHP), where she taught the Intro to AAC course. Jennifer has been a co-author on several research papers in peer-reviewed journals as well as the book: Enhancing Communication for Individuals with Autism: A Guide to the Visual Immersion System. Her clinical experience has ranged from 10 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Autism Language and Augmentative Communication Programs at Boston Children’s Hospital, to a camp counselor and assistant site director at a therapeutic day camp for autistic children, to a therapy assistant (TA) on the Early Start Denver Model Research Project at the University of Washington. She has mentored over 50 graduate student clinicians and presented at national conferences as well as several international conferences as an invited speaker.
Our Services
AAC Therapy
Direct 1:1 therapy supporting the learner in a variety of receptive and expressive communication goals.
AAC Team Support
Provide support to enable the family and teams to better support the communicator while they are either learning to use AAC or while they are learning to expand on current skills and abilities.
Consultation Services
Consultations available for school districts as well as other institutions looking for support from an expert in the field
Programming support
AAC programming and visual support creation customized to each learner

Accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield; superbills may be provided for all other clients to allow reimbursement from their insurance providers.

Services are largely provided via telehealth with exceptions for some of those living in Cambridge/Somerville.
